irritation; Skin: irritation. Repeated skin contact can result in defatting and drying of skin which may result in skin irritation and deratitis. Inhalation: Nose irritation, throat and respiratory tract. High vapor concentrations may cause CNS depression; Ingestion: liquid is moderately toxic and may be harmful if swallowed, may produce CNS depression.
Aggravated Medical Conditions By Exposure
Preexisting eye, skin, and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by exposure to this product
Emergency and First Aid Procedures
Eye:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. Get medical attention. Skin: Flush skin with water while removing contaminated clothes and shoes. If irritation occurs, get medical attention. Do not reuse clothing or shoes until cleaned. Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and provide oxygen if breathing is difficult. Give artificial respiration if not breathing. Get medical attention. Ingestion: Do not give liquids if victim is unconscious or very drowsy. Otherwise give more than two glasses of water and induce vomiting by giving 30CC (2 tablespoons) syrup of ipecac. If ipecac is unavailable, give 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting by touching finger to back of victims throat. Keep victim’s head below hips while vomiting. Get medical attention.
Signs and Symptoms
Irritation as noted above. early to moderate CNS (central nervous system) Depression may be evidenced by giddiness, headache and nausea; in extreme cases, unconsciousness and death may occur.
Note to Physician
If Victim is a child, give no more than 1 glass of water and 15 CC syrup of Ipecac. If symptoms such as a loss of gag reflex, convulsions or unconsciousness occur before emesis, gastric lavage should be considered following intubation with a cuffed endotracheal tube.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE
Flash Point
23 F (TCC) LEL: 1.8
Flammable Limits
UEL: 11.5

Extinguishing Media

Use water fog, "alcohol" foam, dry chemical or CO2

Special Fire Fighting Procedures

Warning. Flammable. Clear fire are of all unprotected personnel. Do not confined fire space without full bunker gear (helmet with face shield, bunker coat, gloves and rubber boots.) Including a positive pressure niosh approved self-contained breathing apparatus. Cool fire exposed containers with water.

Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards

Containers exposed to intense heat from fires should be cooled with water t prevent vapor pressure buildup which could result in container rupture. Container areas exposed t direct flame contact should be cooled with large quantities of water as needed to prevent weakening of container structure.
Spillage
Warning. Flammable. Eliminate all ignition sources. Handling equipment must be grounded to prevent sparking. Large Spills: Evacuate the hazard area of unprotected personnel. wear appropriate respirator and protective clothing. Shut off source of leak only if it is safe to do so. Dike and contain. If vapor cloud forms, water fog may be used to suppress: contain run-off. Remove with vacuum trucks or pump to storage/salvage vessels. Soak up residue with an absorbent such as clay, sand or other suitable material.; place in non-leaking containers for proper disposal. Flush area with water to remove trace residue: Dispose of flush solutions as above. Small Spills: Take up with an absorbent material and place in non-leaking containers: seal tightly for proper disposal.

CONTROL MEASURES
Respiratory Protection

Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors . If exposure may or does exceed occupational exposure limits (sec. IV) use a NIOSH-approved respirator to prevent overexposure. In accord with 29 CFR 1910.34 use either a full-face , atmosphere-supplying respirator or an air-purifying respirator for organic vapors.

Protective Clothing

Avoid contact with eyes. Wear chemical goggles if there is likelihood of contact with eyes. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wear chemical-resistant gloves and other clothing required to minimize contact.
Test data from published literature and/ glove and clothing.
