Repair and Protect All Areas Subjected to Corrosion/Erosion Across all Areas of Power Generation
PowerGuard™ Systems from ARCOR:
- 100%-solids formulations using no solvents. Greater safety for people and the environment.
- ‘Plural Spray’ technology allows for faster, more controlled, solvent-free application.
- Formulated for high-build spray application to 25-80 mils per coat.
- ARCOR® in-house service teams offer worldwide turn-key warrantied applications.
- Corrosion-inhibiting primer minimizes destructive undercutting.
ARCOR rebuilding materials are often used to refurbish power system components such as Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Inlet and Oultet Pipes, Pumps, Channel Heads and Waterboxes, Butterfly Valves Seats and Bodies, Fuel Handling Systems, Cooling Tower Sumps and fan blades, and Secondary Containment.
ARCOR Products Used for PowerGuard
Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Inlet and Oultet Pipes, Pumps, Channel Heads and Waterboxes:
ARCOR® S-20 Most versatile and best all-around epoxy coating with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance.
ARCOR® S-30 Prime Sprayable primer with Zinc Phosphate to inhibit corrosion of ferrous metal substrates due to diffusion of water and/or salts or mechanical damage to the coating. Eliminates corrosive undercutting.
ARCOR® S-30 Topcoat A sprayable, chemical resistant, low friction coating for aggressive water service (salt, brackish. Multipurpose coating suited for moderate acid and caustic service. Excellent at elevated temperatures. Unique application properties allows us to spray tube sheet faces without the use of plugs or corks.
ARCOR® EE-95 Rebuilding material for metals in immersion service. Ideally suited as a restoration or cladding material for corrosion and abrasion protection of condensers and heat exchangers. Can be applied to 500 mils without slump.
ARCOR® 2211 Creamy, user friendly rebuilding composite with good chemical and excellent abrasion resistance. 2211 is also fully machinable when close tolerances must be met.
Butterfly Valves Seats and Bodies:
ARCOR® ARCTHANE This is a unique hybridized urethane that can be used to rebuild worn rubber seats in large butterfly valves. We often rebuild them in place by using the flapper edge itself to form the seat.
ARCOR® SPRAYTHANE Sprayable ARCTHANE®. Highly resilient, tear resistant and impact resistant coating to combat cavitation and abrasion. Compatible with all epoxy coatings.
ARCOR® S-20 Most versatile and best all-around epoxy coating with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance.
ARCOR® EE-95 See Above.
Cooling Tower Sumps and fan blades, and Secondary Containment:
ARCOR® S-20 Combining dine ceramic powders with impact resistant flexuralizers makes S-20 the ideal system to protect the leading edges of fan blades.
ARCOR® 2211 Creamy texture and user friendly application properties makes repairing damaged fan blades easily done in place
ARCOR® ARCTHANE A high elongation, elastomeric, hybridized epoxy/urethane. Ideally suited for expansion joint sealing and crack repair, and it is completely compatible with epoxy coatings.
ARCOR® ARCRETE An epoxy ‘concrete’ excellent for replacing larger volumes of concrete loss. Use with forms to rebuild pump & tank pedestals and berms. Can be coated within 8 hours allowing for reconstruction & coating in one setup..
ARCOR EE-10 A thin film, unfilled 100% solid, Novolack resin system can be used as final protective coating for secondary containment areas. ARcor EE-10 will stand up to total immersion in both caustics and sulfuric acid of up to 98% concentrations.
Fuel Handling Systems:
ARCOR® S-20 See Above.
ARCOR® EE-95 Abrasion protection of hoppers, chutes, and many other areas where high physical or chemical wear is seen.
ARCOR® ARCTHANE A high elongation, elastomeric, hybridized epoxy/urethane. Ideally suited for belt repair or protect belt cleat-joints.
